During the excavation of the cellars we encountered groundwater requiring 24hour pumps being used during construction & the permanent installation of pumping stations.
These two classic and timelessly designed residences were constructed of Western Australian limestone, each comprising of 250m2.

As you enter the residence you are overwhelmed by a double sweeping marble slab staircase within a large atrium space. The extensive use of natural stone & timber gives this large residence a feeling of warmth & permanency.

Other features include a suspended glass light shaft over the Kitchen island bench along with a handmade suspended stainless steel range over the hotplates.

Stone for the addition was matched by opening a closed quarry just for this project. A three level lift was used to reach all levels of the addition.
A full glass conservatory is a special feature of the addition.
Corrugated iron & lightweight extension to existing residence architecturally designed by 'TECTVS Design'. It includes a large cantilevered mezzanine floor overlooking the casual living area.
Features include curved roof & ceiling, extensive mosaic tiling & 'Logos', a unique resin/stone tiled floor.

Special features include cantilevered wall pans, concealed cisterns, ceiling shower roses, linear slot grates, alcoves in walls, polished concrete floors & skylights.
Hafele sliding door systems were modified to fully conceal track systems in ceilings.

To the original house a substantial extension was added comprising of a new Family Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, two Bedrooms, Laundry and carport. As the existing house was built circa 1940's we not only matched the external render & stone plinth walls but also perfectly matched the existing moss covered roof tiles.
The result being a seamless finish between new & old.
A new library was built suspended over the existing single storey drama and canteen facilities incorporating significant structural steel members. This construction also allowed for no internal structural supports making it an ideal open space design for a library. Precast acoustic curtain wall construction.

An extension and restoration to the historic 'Victory Hotel' overlooking Sellicks Beach designed by conservation architects 'BB Architects'.
This was a complex project as all construction work took place whilst the pub & restaurant were in full operation. Including the construction and connection of new cellars to existing cellars through building underground passages.
Tempo Constructions won the 2009 Master Builders Excellence Awards "Excellence in a Commercial Refurbishment/Redevelopment up to $5 million" for this project.
Construction comprised of off form concrete vaults, precast concrete panels, structural steel, stainless steel, fiberglass cupola finished with gold guilding.
The chapel was constructed in Dudley Park Cemetery.
